Coffee Talk Topic: Promise and Comfort

This show’s coffee talk topic encompasses the promise and comfort that we gain from the truth in God’s own words. Particularly in moments of grief, but also for every day struggles in life.

We’ll hear two powerful interviews given by two women who exemplify what it means to believe in and embrace God’s promise and comfort.

Featured Guest No 1: Marsha Countryman

Host Brandee Nielsen asks “have you ever heard the saying that if a man is the head of the house, then the woman is the neck? Because whichever way the neck turns, the head follows! Mrs. Marsha Countryman is precisely that to her husband Jack Countryman! This is exemplified by many things including the curation of Jack’s book, God’s Promises Everyday 365, which has sold over 15 million copies!”

Marsha not only proofs Jacks writings but also accompanies him to work every day where she uses her gifts which not only support; but helps to ensure Jack’s successes. Marsha also encourages Max Lucado, Anne Graham Lotz, John Maxwell, and many others through their walk.

Marsha joins us today to share about her life as an encourager to Jack, and about his latest book, God’s Promises Everyday 365.

Featured Guest No 2: Kaitlin Wernet

Kaitlin Wernet is storyteller surrendered to Hope! She’s a writer for She Read’s Truth, with a degree in mass communications and journalism.

Kaitlin joins us today to talk about her contribution as one of 4 co-authors of The Book of Comforts, subtitled Genuine Encouragement for Hard Times

She Reads Truth is a worldwide community of women who read God’s Word together every day. It was founded in 2012 and invites women of all ages to engage Scripture through daily reading plans, as well as online conversations led by a vibrant community of contributing writers. Katlin is one of those writers.
