Coffee Talk Topic: The Unexplainable Church

Today’s coffee talk topic dives deep into the Unexplainable Church according to our featured guest, author Erica Wiggenhorn.

“What we see in the book of Acts is a story of people who doubted,  disobeyed, had fear, and who were torn in many directions yet trying to serve Jesus.

We read about people who were selfish, and people who made rash decisions that caused divisions in the church. The exact same things we see in believers lives today.

The beauty of the story of Acts is that in spite of all of our human frailties, sinfulness, the evil in the world, and the slander that was against these early believers, God moved His unexplainable church forward.

This unexplainable church started with 120 people to literally going all over the world.”

According to a 2011 Pew Research Center survey, there are 2.18 billion Christians around the world as of 2010, up from about 600 million in 1910.
